This 1950’s house, located in the Barton Hills neighborhood of Austin, is being remodeled with removal of an enclosed garage and carport to become a new 1,050 square foot addition. This addition will include a new master bedroom and bath, a new entry foyer, study, laundry, and exterior storage. The owners wanted a modern design to reflect a mix of contemporary design and the 1950’s moderne style. The project also includes a remodel of the kitchen and living room into a more open plan. The new kitchen will allow for more cabinet space and a large pantry.
